CSL player guide
Competitive Rust Formats: 5v5 to 10v10, Duos & Solos
The website clan queue and tournament calendar are related but not identical. The official queue supports flexible clan sizes; duos and solos appear in scheduled or in-game competition.
Official clan ladder
5v5 to 10v10 share one clan ELO ladder. Matches use Deadmans (5v5–6v6) · Boulderfields (7v7–10v10) and the published first to 10, win by 2 rule.
Duos
The legacy 2v2 clan queue on the website is closed, but the hub's separate RANKED queue includes 2v2. Duo tournaments use Dune and first to 6.
Solos
Choose 1v1 in the Rust hub's RANKED row. It shares player ELO standings with the other hub Ranked sizes. Solo tournament brackets are scheduled on the tournament calendar.
Sides and substitutes
Official matches allow up to 2 substitutes under the match rules. Tournament lineup requirements are shown on each event.
